Replacement Locks & Cylinders
If
you are moving premises or if keys have become lost or stolen, you may
need to change your locks. This does not always mean a complete lock
replacement, but might be as simple as a new cylinder or replacement levers.
British Standard Insurance Approved Locks
Most
insurance companies now require that the final exit door must be fitted
with a British Standard lock, conforming to BS 3621. We will upgrade
your
lock to meet this requirement, or can fit a new one to supplement your existing lock.
Window Locks and Patio Door Locks
Many Insurance companies will also require ground floor windows, or those
easily accessible, to be fitted with a key operated window lock. Patio doors
may also require additional key locking at the top and bottom of sliding doors.
Key Systems
Where
it is important to keep control of keys a registered key system may be
used. This will prevent unauthorised copying of your keys, insuring
that you always know who your key-holders are.
